The "goal" probably depends on one's motives.  Being pro-boycott is on trend and likely to get you social standing and approval.  It can be a mask for antisemitism.  And it may come from legitimate concern.  Maybe it's some of all of these or none of them.  But the obsession with Israel by some is almost pathological.[/quote]
