My daughter considered that accelerated pre-med program at the suggestion of her own doctor. It's very competitive, but my daughter was a strong candidate. We did the informational visit and toured the facility. What a fantastic program! You start med school your junior year. She ultimately decided not to apply, but if your kid wants to be a physician it's really great! Just keep in mind that it's extreamly hard to get a spot. (Still hate the Gators! Go DAWGS!)[/quote]
