I am in a primarily non patient care position which means no calls from the ER, no rounding on the weekend, sleeping through the night, and being a happier person. I really like my job as well. Private practice (if I chose to go into a more direct patient care route) would likely require me to see 30+ patients a day and be miserable. I suppose I could do consulting or go into corporate medicine but am happy with where I'm at. Perhaps reading more of these threads will influence me to chase more $$$![/quote]
