Everything you're describing is your issue. You will recreate it in your child in some vain attempt to heal yourself. Please realize that you are not shielding her by doing this - you are perpetuating your pattern. A good therapist could help you work through this very quickly. It would be the greatest gift you could give your children AND yourself.[/quote]
