I am not a perfect mother and I make mistakes. I let my child know I am not perfect. I don't think trying to live up to perfection is healthy. It just sets you up to fail. I understand you don't want your child to get hurt in anyway. I think that is normal - but she will be hurt if she tries to be "perfect" and cannot (because no one can).[/quote]
