What do high schools have to do with it?   If they are all delayed two hours or closed that gives the workers more time to get there or clear.   Why can’t you pay one of the child care workers to come to your house and uber them if they don’t drive.  Problem solved. [/quote]

Yes, I do and I’ve worked in child care.   Clearly you haven’t given your unreasonable expectations of minimum wage workers.  Bottom line you need a back up care taker.

The discussion is about child care and high school students don’t need child care so two separate issues.  Child care centers are not in high schools.  Everyone is on a delay from their original start times. [/quote]

Are you really so obvious that you don't realize at the exact same time kids were going into high schools, MCPS was still prohibiting child care operators from opening? They didn't get to operate on a delay. They had to close for the morning. Why? We'll probably never know because the BoE isn't going to ask questions that make him look incompetent.[/quote]

She knows perfectly well that high schools were allowed to open at 9 (2 hour delay) while beforecare was prohibited from opening at 9 with a two hour delay despite many of them being able and willing/begging to be allowed to open.  She knows it makes no sense but is pretending she doesn't know because she likes to piss people off for fun. [/quote]
