A student can only register AMC test outside the "home" school if the home school does not provide the test. Since TJ only hosts one (10b/12b), it is possible to register in other school for (10a/12a). The two tests are usually 2 week apart. For TJ hosted test, it is within the school hour. It is very inconvenient to take the test outside TJ since it require at least 2 hours absence during the school day. DC did not sign up for extra test because of the extra effort to leave earlier and drive to another school.
So how is that cheating as some claimed here?
Mostly because of the ethnicity of the student in question. If she did well and they're was anything irregular about her CV, it must be because she cheated. It couldn't be because she had a schedule conflict, she must have cheated. People on the left have convinced themselves that Asian academic achievement is the result of cheating despite peer reviewed research concluding it's because Asians study more than others.
