The AMC tests have been dealing with issues of test questions being copied and released to kids taking the test at a later time in the day. I think it was 2 years ago that there was an issue with Proctors releasing the test early. I know over the last few years that the AMC has openly discussed issues with cheating. This has not been hidden.

I am sure it is not race related. Interesting thing is many in this thread did not know the test process and claim there is nothing concerning. Obviously the kids know better.

Mostly because of the ethnicity of the student in question. If she did well and they're was anything irregular about her CV, it must be because she cheated. It couldn't be because she had a schedule conflict, she must have cheated.

People on the left have convinced themselves that Asian academic achievement is the result of cheating despite peer reviewed research concluding it's because Asians study more than others.

Nothing to do with race. Far from it.

This is one particular instance and the student has been caught and has been dealt with by one particular college. But other colleges do not know about this.

Do not want to discuss too much about a single student.

I believe Harvard accepted 7 kids from TJ this year and ALL of them picked Harvard. Some of the Harvard admits/commits were rejected from MIT and Stanford. And the MIT commits didn’t get accepted to Stanford/Harvard.

It's only an issue if the testing center is a bit sketchy and doesn't enforce the rules about allowed materials or time limits.
