For pretty much my adult life the illegal immigrant numbers have been around 11 million. Lets say for the sake of argument its true, removing ~3% of the population, or in reality 5-10% of the population if US born kids go with them would dramatically reduce the cost of housing, though it would hurt home equity. That's also excluding the millions who have asylum claims pending, or have some sort of temporary protected status which is another couple of million.[/quote]

My Peruvian neighbors illegally sublet.  During the summer a guy sleeps out in a hammock behind their house.  This morning, one was wandering around my back yard and garage.  Looked like he was looking for something, maybe a place to sleep or go to the bathroom.[/quote]
