Why do people just make up random crap? You don’t like Taylor fine but this is not at all her origin story. she grew up in some town in Pennsylvania… Her dad was in finance but I promise you if he was some finance guru with mad connections he wouldn’t be doing it from Pennsylvania.

Seems like people are desperate to pin Taylor’s fame on someone else. Her dad, her connections, some white man Wizard of Oz behind the curtain did it, and she’s not all that talented.

I just googled searched this. She was born in West Reading PA, spent her earlier years on a Christmas tree farm in PA. Moved to Wyomissing PA. Looks like her family did summer vacationsin Stone Harbor, but she never lived or went to school there.

To help her break in to the country music scene they moved to Nashville at 14.

Its clear her parents wanted this for her. But she really did not have any connections in the music industry… And just to say that they had marketing connections and that’s the reason for her success is a weird reach. They like any parents of kids who started young clearly helped her break into the industry. But how many tens of millions of kids have parents trying to do that and don’t succeed? or how many kids are born to famous actors and musicians and still have at best mediocre talent? [/quote]
