Starting with this year's 9th grade class, MCAP scores count for portion of course grades in the subject in which students take the MCAP, e.g. math. if the tests mean "nothing" why make students sit for hours for "nothing" tests and no scores to show for. Wondering how quickly they plan to release scores if the scores count towards a semester grade. Are they going to withhold stuxents' semester grades then too? Ridiculous. [/quote]
