Yes I posted earlier too. We received our current 6th graders scores.
When? And which elementary?

Interesting, as we are a 6th grade family that was at CCES last year and has vent gotten the reports yet. Must depend on the middle school.
You haven't? No one in your middle school?

Most don't care about the test. But if they're going to have my kids sit for hours over many days for a "worthless" test, show us the results! If they can't show us the results, don't test out kid or give us the option to opt-out our kid to sit for hours over days for a "worthless" test.
The state wants your kid to sit down for this test.
And the school districts got results to send to families MONTHS ago. District has the results. Just mail them out to students' homes!!! Whatever department at MCPS Central Office that does the actual mailings needs help! But do you think Cram and associates will COMMUNICATE why results have still not been mailed to all families? Apologize for making students sit for hours for a test if there are no results! The school year is about to enter quarter 4 and students will be taking this year's tests in a month or some have already taken certain MCAP/MISA tests, yet students have not received last year's results! Despicable.
Who Cares!
Obviously not you, why don't you go to another forum or discussion! Students and parents care. Students are the ones having to sit for these long tests, the tests which will count for portion of the semester grades factored. If they want to withhold results, I withhold my students from taking the tests.
Students definitely do not care, and most parents don't care either about MCAP.

Get students to start a petition to sit out from testing until they receive 2023 test scores.
That might make sense if MCAP mattered but it really means nothing. A better gesture would be to lobby your state legislator to remove these silly requirements or accept a better national test like MAP.
You may have outdated info if you have an older child. Starting with this year's 9th grade class, MCAP scores count for portion of course grades in the subject in which students take the MCAP, e.g. math. if the tests mean "nothing" why make students sit for hours for "nothing" tests and no scores to show for. Wondering how quickly they plan to release scores if the scores count towards a semester grade. Are they going to withhold stuxents' semester grades then too? Ridiculous.
