Leave it to DCUM to prioritize grammar and pyramid boundaries (the suspect couldn’t possibly be from this zone 😮, must be from that high school we trash). A child is dead. I’m sure we’ll start hearing about the flight out of the zone here soon.
Westfield is not one of the sought after FCPS high schools to begin with. Way more kids transfer out of it. It has a pretty big percentage of poor kids from Herndon and the Stone area.
LOL This is not true but keep spreading your Fairfax parent BS.
Which part isn't true? Way more transfers out of Westfield then in. Lots of poor kids from the London Towne area, the Coates area, and the aforementioned Meadows trailer park.
Sure, there are students with economic disadvantages at Westfield, but almost every FCPS high school has students with economic disadvantage. Westfield also has all of Virginia Run, several neighborhoods in the Floris area, Emerald Chase, Sully Station, and a handful of other middle class and upper middle class neighborhoods in its boundaries. Additionally, there is nothing wrong with being poor, and being poor doesn't make you a criminal, a degenerate, or any less worthy, so it really shouldn't matter how wealthy or poor a child or family is.
