You can live the past if you want, but the truth of the matter is that the Catholic Church has never been more careful than now about rooting out anything resembling sexual abuse in its schools. I know my kids are safer in Catholic schools than public schools because of the hoops the teachers and volunteers much go through to be cleared.

Not a bigot. It's not living in the past, it's living the present with a keen awareness of the misery that the Catholic Church has caused millions of people. As of January 2024, thirty-seven US Catholic religious organizations have sought bankruptcy protection in chapter 11. Twenty-four cases have concluded, 13 are still pending. The fact is that they are doing that because of the years of protection the Catholic Church gave to pedophiles. That's a fact. They will still be paying off that debt for years to come. Your tithing to the Catholic Church goes to pay off settlements and the economic ruin that was caused by...you guessed it, the Catholic Church and those with power in the Catholic Church. [/quote]
