And you think DEI stops it from happening? It does not. The majority population is always going to be blind to what doesn't affect them, but a bunch of UMC people gaming the system by embracing their Hispanic forefathers (forefathers who were probably racist AF against the darker people from their own countries, mind), isn't creating equity--it's just another loophole.

What actually would help would be making a serious effort to desegregate our elementary and secondary school systems, develop neighborhoods where socioeconomic diversity is the norm. I mean, there are places in the US where that exists now. This area--and Baltimore--are not among them.
