OP here - It's going to be a long night, but hoping recovery continues.

We're fortunate to both be in understanding jobs. Not once have we been nudged to return to work. We have both grandparents in state, mine have driven hours to be in my spare room. DH still has friends living here from his school days that are like brothers and spoil our kids more than we do. They're desperate to see her and take our load off but understand for now just me and DH need to be here.

We have everything and barring my disagreements the doctors have never stopped caring. Thank you for the generosity. I will be making a donation to children's hospital charities. And learning first aid is my lesson so far. If I'd known even the tiniest bit about health I fear I could have spotted it sooner.

Tonight is the night everything comes together and she makes a leap in her recovery I can feel it.
