If she’s on a waitlist, she should be trying out for other clubs—go where you are wanted/needed/valued for what you can contribute and/or where coaching staff sees potential to develop. Players develop physically and on the field at different ages so finding the right fit hopefully keeps things fun and even at the competitive HS level, if they’re not having fun they might burn out and quit. As for w/l movement at any club it depends on needs for position(s), connections, etc. Don’t know the CLC management but it wouldn’t hurt to reach out and she where she stands and express it’s her top choice if that the case. If she’s high on their list it could help make their job easier when they start pulling from that list. Best of luck-it’s never easy to watch your child be upset but there are plenty of great clubs out there, especially if you’re willing to drive to MD or south to YJS or Cavlax.[/quote]
