It depends on the degree. Overall there are more women in college but each degree field is not reflective of the whole. Also different schools have gender “shortages”. Before title nine it was majority male and schools did “affirmative action” for females. They still do it for some degrees for both males and females.

Number of Bachelor's degrees awarded 2019-2020 first column is males.
