That you don’t need to eat constantly - always snacking and eating and eating and eating is not good for you. A light breakfast and a healthy lunch and simple dinner is sufficient and more than enough for your body
This is not true for everyone. I know several people who are thin and underweight. If they do not eat more than they want and often, they will lose weight. My father was like this. After he retired, he had the problem that he started losing weight. He had to eat about 6-8 times per day or eat until he was uncomfortable to avoid losing weight. He was 5'6". When he was working, he weighed about 120 and was a healthy weight. After he retired, his weight dropped to 108 and he had to choose the above path to get back to 112-115 and hold it there. I've known several people who were younger, but had similar issues. So, people like you who use one-size-fits all rules for eating are part of the problem. What you say may be true for those who tend towards overweight/obese, but it's not universal by any means.
