Well, it's a better substitute. So give that up.
It isn't, actually.

Sorry, with your occasional article with no generalization to all of educational practice.
When we ask kids to write everything, we discount the effort of actual production over the skill of "writing." Actually "writing" isn't the cognitive process of writing. We want the cognition of writing, note taking to supersede the motor, spelling, and format issues every damn time. You clearly aren't in an educational setting unless this is an Amish situation, but there's no teacher who advocates handwriting over word processing in research or writing skills. Not one.

Ah, 24 children huh? And only 12 were were 12? Who cares what the sample size was, heck, I'll jump on it.
Wow, well, that changes EVERYTHING. I am gobsmacked. Let me redo my entire 35 years of teaching based upon this opinion.
There are lots of studies actually including the higher value of taking notes by hand vs. keyboarding. You can look them up yourselves if you're interested.
As the title says, I get really sick and tired of having to explain this to people.

Anonymous wrote:“Liberal” and “leftist” are different things, only American liberals call themselves that. Being further to the left on economic issues is not the same as being “more liberal.”
Liberal is best used to describe permissiveness on social issues, and in the rest of the world, it refers to free market economics or neoliberalism. I’m cool with social progressives and Democrats who are pro LGBTQ and abortion being called “liberals,” but I can’t stand it when AOC, Bernie, Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar are called “more liberal” when referring to their economic policies.
I associate with a lot of leftists. They hate “liberals.”

So annoying! Educate yourself before asking something so ridiculous.
I am not protein deficient now nor have I ever been in the 7 years that I have been eating WFPB. In fact, I can actually strength train and grow my muscles substantially(mind-blown).
If you called yourself a vegetarian instead of “WFPB” people may understand better.
PP. But I'm NOT vegetarian. I don't eat dairy or eggs. Whole Food Plant Based is the only way to describe how I eat.
