That was just a good guy without a gun stopping a bad guy with a gun. That was to stop shooting in the moment and save lives.

PP is referring to the legal consequences. Beating people in the head with a gun shouldn’t be a possible sentence handed down by the courts, but if that is what it takes for unarmed bystanders to stop an active shooter, that’s fine with me. I’d also like to point out that gun owners are frequently disarmed and have their guns used against them, so here’s a layered example of how guns don’t make people safer. Also, if you don’t want someone to take your gun away from you and beat you in the head with it, maybe you shouldn’t go shoot up a club, and if you do go shoot up a club, maybe you shouldn’t wear body armor that only leaves your head exposed so that’s the only place someone can beat you with your gun after they disarm you.

I was responding to posts regarding the killer's demeanor at the preliminary hearing. The killer probably seemed drugged and incoherent because he had been beaten senseless on the back of the head by Richard Fierro, a bona fide hero who saved innumerable lives.

Hopefully the killer will recover so he may receive justice.

(BTW as the parent of a nonbinary adult child, I refuse to indulge the killer's trolling. He, and anyone else who thinks this is funny, can laugh about it all the way to hell.)[/quote]
