No guesses, but if a club says the have 100+ coming and there are only 70 in the gym, then they are probably running multiple tryout sessions.  You don't want your DD to be in a 100+ player tryout -- we've done it before and it was terrible, and even though she got an offer she said she wouldn't do that again.

And yes, especially at U15-U17, players are going to multiple tryouts a day and as many four or 5 in a weekend.  U15 is really tough -- you have all the existing club players plus all the new HS players competing for a limited number of spots.[/quote]
