I just got such a notification yesterday and I just shrug. Both my siblings' kids caught it despite wearing high quality masks, while my cloth masked kids never did. I am sure that at some point they will inevitably catch it like everybody else, masks or not. This virus is here to stay, and you can run but not hide. The downsides of masks outweigh the marginal benefits in schools.[/quote]

Well, Fauci has said that the Omicron will infect "just about everyone". Do you really think you will be able to avoid a virus that will be with us for the rest of our lives? I don't think that's possible unless you take unsustainable preventive measures that are incompatible with a full life. I hope you won't be imposing such restrictions on your kids until they are grown.[/quote]
