Um, yes, I do. And despite being of Jewish decent, the groom is clearly going for that New England Anglo look, with the hair, the slight tan, and the J. crew suit, and nary a kippah or chuppah ANYWHERE nor to mention the aesthetic of the wedding. An observation, not an insult.

Sure, of course. But the observation up thread that it’s a WASP-y aesthetic has been met with people calling out that the groom and family is Jewish and that poster is “stupid.” The groom and family are 100% downplaying any Jewish or religious roots in favor of a more New England WASP vibe. That’s fine, I’m a non practicing Jew too. But it doesn’t negate the observation.   [/quote]

His family is very religious and this is a big reason why the marriage with Drew didn't work out, as she didn't convert. The girls are raised Jewish and traditional.  Allie's mom is Jewish of Russian descent. Maybe this is the wedding that she wanted.  [/quote]

Drew reportedly struggled with a lot of the traditional elements deeply embedded in her marriage to koppelman. She wanted the traditional life (in theory) and adored the security and stability of him and his family, craved it probably but when living it in reality, just could not bear it and felt trapped. She has said as much. Region may have been a piece of it but it likely extended beyond that. [/quote]

Well HELLO, Drew has so much dysfunction and baggage from her incredibly crazy mother and childhood. She seems like a really caring/lovey person who has openly admitted the struggles she's faced from all she lived before she was even 15.[/quote]
