But the observation up thread that it’s a WASP-y aesthetic has been met with people calling out that the groom and family is Jewish and that poster is “stupid.” The groom and family are 100% downplaying any Jewish or religious roots in favor of a more New England WASP vibe. His family is very religious and this is a big reason why the marriage with Drew didn't work out, as she didn't convert. The girls are raised Jewish and traditional. Allie's mom is Jewish of Russian descent. Maybe this is the wedding that she wanted.

Well, it's obvious she didn't want a Jewish wedding! There's not a single photo of a chuppah, no mention of a rabbi, no mention at all of any ritual that you'd find in a Jewish wedding. If the groom is so religious, then it's amazing that there was no desire on the bride's part to honor that important tradition. I think that conspicuous, conscious decision to not display any bit of Judiasm in the wedding publicity is, well, very telling...

Drew reportedly struggled with a lot of the traditional elements deeply embedded in her marriage to koppelman. She wanted the traditional life (in theory) and adored the security and stability of him and his family, craved it probably but when living it in reality, just could not bear it and felt trapped. She has said as much. Region may have been a piece of it but it likely extended beyond that.

I live in the South and most women here are bottle blonde but 99% have brown eyes. This one is a dark blonde, there are pictures with her roots showing online. Her face shape is round and this is why she looks so much younger. There's nothing masculine about her face; she looks like a young Christie Brinkley. She is an ideal beauty pretty much all over the word. It's not right, it's not fair, but this is the reality. Why do you think Asian women break down their faces, change their eyes, and elongate their legs using painful surgeries? Why do you think light skin is considered more beautiful not only in the Black community here, but also even in Africa? The occidentalisation of beauty standards is alive and well.
