The Jeff Cup results are telling.  No GA teams in any of the U15 finals.  ECNL covered each of the finals for top 4 divisions (w/ ECNL Mid-Atlantic teams winning 3 of the 4).  
U16 Championship Group:  4 of top 5 results are ECNL.....congrats to Sporting Delaware GA for breaking the trend.

I think the real question for the DMV area is how did the local clubs do? I could care less about this  ‘my league is better than yours nonsense.’ All that is relevant locally is where should I send my kid to be the most competitive.[/quote]

I know we all love to see FCV do poorly because the parents and coaches are so egotistical and believe local results mean anything, but mention should be made about the abysmal showing by the 05 Arlington team. They lost 2 and tied 1 and failed to score a single goal. The move to ECNL is going to be a tough one for them. [/quote]

You're kidding right? You honestly believe that Arlington's 05's will do worse than 10th place Loudoun, 11th place VDA and 12th place BRYC?

Yes. I think they will struggle. They’ll do better than BRYC, but beyond that, nothing is a guarantee. They are a mediocre GA team, so moving to ECNL isn’t going to be an easy transition for them. They got the spot FCV desperately wanted, we’ll see what they do with it. Their Jefferson Cup outing was horrendous, that’s not debatable. Time will tell about the rest. [/quote]

All but one NoVA ECNL team in this age group struggles and sucks. What is the difference if Arlington does? Seriously, just stop acting like Arlington is in for some "rude awakening" when pretty much all the local representation are an embarrassment. [/quote]
