You didn't receive any emails about it? You didn't receive any PTA newsletters about it? You didn't receive a Principal's newsletter about it? If you have an email on file at the school then you were contacted. Stop being a snowflake and demanding a phone call. Let the staff go after the people who don't have your same resources. Gosh some of you people are unbelievable. -Signed, a Parent
But ACPS said the choice was NOT BINDING. That is the issue and ACPS chooses to ignore it.
Look, I remember reading it very carefully and thinking that the choice we made, if we chose DL, was binding but not vice versa. I don't have the newsletters from back then but we discussed it in our household for about a week before choosing DL. When I clicked the button I had my kids right beside me and they knew we were "stuck" with our choice when I selected DL. I don't know why I would be singled out for a DIFFERENT message than you but perhaps they singled you out on purpose??? JK. I am sure we got the same letter. Maybe you didn't read yours.
Your impression of what something you can't even recall said from a few months ago is totally irrelevant. They absolutely, without question, did not say or even intimate the choice to stay virtual was binding. But, again, everyone should have expected it because ... why wouldn't they do this.
I have sent email asked specifically if we can change the choice later on, and was told it was not binding.
Hold onto that email.
