People are acting like this is a crazy new idea.  It's already been done for many years in Falls Church City and also in Manassas and Manassas Park.  These are very different jurisdictions but McLean is similar to Falls Church City in demographics.  Many on DCUM like to disparage FCC schools but the residents of FCC pretty much love their little city and their little school district.  I'm actually pretty sure the people of Manassas and Manassas Park like theirs pretty well too.  When it comes to school districts smaller is generally better, in general, with some debatable points.[/quote]
