The kids who want to do well and who come from families who expect them to do well, will do well. This is regardless of race. Buying the kids free backpacks and free meals isn’t going to endure they end up out of jail. And the school system/taxpayers shouldn’t be in charge of any of this anyway. Let private donors and non-profits handle all the free stuff. [/quote]
