They have this now. It's called the enriched classes. They're really wonderful. It's like a magnet without the bussing.[/quote]

First off, there are no enrichment classes in ES.  There used to be a way to read up multiple grade levels and take Math 7 in 5th grade if you were high enough.  2.0 has taken that all away.  Second, compact math SUCKS.  It was supposed to be for the gifted math students, usually 1 class size max per grade, and now it is offered to at least half, if not all students in every school.

And we all know the honors classes really mean "non-remedial."
