Are you the one that keeps saying she's not cute?  I really don't understand that--I think she's cute as a button.  She has a very sweet, innocent look.  Even the director said as much:

There are multiple ppl on this thread FYI. I very clearly responded to someone else who doesn’t find her cute either. I clearly said I’m the poster who said everyone questioning the choice needs to read the link posted. I never questioned the choice bc I’m not in the business of making movies. Not everyone has to think she’s cute just bc you do. However, finding her not cute doesn’t mean she deserves to be treated like trash. I’ll support her as Ariel. [/quote]
