I’m the PP and I have heard of it. But this thread is about prestige and Carleton is just not going to do that. I don’t have any beef either Carleton or any of the other midwestern schools. In fact, we’re looking at these schools for my daughter. But, what we’re not looking for is prestige. If that’s what you want, stick to the coasts. Carleton will not do that for you as just about no one outside of some small select circles know about it. [/quote]

Carleton is the most prestigious of them. That isn't mutually exclusive with not being well known outside of the Midwest. [/quote]
