The temperatures on Wednesday will still be below freezing, so natural melting will not occur. Some winters we have a lot of snow, and other winters (like this one), we have little to none. It doesn't make sense to have the same budget for snow clean-up like Boston. And also, unlike Boston, we have large county school systems where the amount of snow and clean-up can vary. It's not possible to open one part of a county's school and keep the other parts closed. [/quote]
