I am sad for my country. While our division is not new, we are at a whole new level now. Virtue signaling, group like think, hatred for various groups, cult of personalities is defining us now. Both the GOP and Dems put some descent people, who if it were not for this current environment, could actually end up being descent public servants. Dems will scream on the top of their lungs that GOP are crazies. GOP will scream on the top of their lungs that Dems are crazy. I wish we had a viable alternative. Both parties actually once you peel the onion are quite similar in terms of economic and defense thinking.
BoTh SiDeS. Go away. You offer nothing but dopey platitudes that are neither fresh nor even correct. One party is trying to get rid of democracy and they’re not being subtle about it. That same party is corrupt. That same party is openly stripping women of their rights. You’ll probably buh buh both sides back at me or tell me I’m not being sufficiently polite to win you over. Stuff it. It’s the GOP’s fascist party or the party of decency and normalcy and you’re both sidesing.
Yes stay in your bubble and you will keep loosing elections
Republicans set up their own media ecosystem because they're allergic to facts, but sure, we're the ones living in a bubble.
So you want me to send you tissues for your tears next Tuesday lol
Hey the polls could be wrong you know. GOP will probably take the house but I think Dems will keep the senate. And by the way, the party in the house has a tendency to loose the midterms during their first term. So this is just another pattern we have been seeing. And Dems will probably take back the house in 2024.
To the PP who says Democrats keep losing elections: sorta kinda. But 2018 and 2020 weren’t great for the GOP, so I’m not sure how it’s the Democrats that are in a bubble. And among voters who have already voted. Of course Republicans will say that it looks like this because Republicans never tell the truth (duh) on polls anymore, but that makes the assumption that Democrats aren’t doing the same.
