I don’t know that to be true. I’m indifferent on the outcome but in my neighborhood currently zoned to Oakton we have several families with kids in preschool who are recent home buyers and just as fired up as some of the families with older kids. I try to remind them we have no idea what any of the schools will be like in a decade plus. [/quote]

By the time preschoolers are in high school, there definitely won't be space for them at Oakton. They will end up at South Lakes or Herndon. Western is a better bet. It's ridiculous that parents can't see that.[/quote]

How do we know if Crossfield moves to the Western High School those toddler-aged kids won’t be rezoned in 10-12 years to South Lakes, etc. It’s anyone’s guess. People need to make near-term choices. Once Western High School almost certainly performs well, people will jump at the chance to move into the boundary. [/quote]

Western is the closest to our homes. Fox Mill is in Reston, they should remain at South Lakes.[/quote]
