If Cavs program was so great, then why did if fold? Why was it rapidly losing players? Why did it never play in high-level tourneys? VLC model was for high school players. Maybe they are trying to develop a more direct pipeline into its program via the Cavs thing. It is probably a way to also create more cash flow; I concede that, but I certainly don't begrudge them for it. Other teams are doing it, and other teams place players from other parts of the country on their high-level tourney rosters. VLC doesn't. Given them credit for sticking local and developing their players rather than just cherry-picking to look good at a tourney. [/quote]
