VLC had big numbers at their tryouts.  We were at Express as well - they had a lot of kids, but half or more of the kids were pure rec kids who are not good enough for club.  Also a joke that they charge $95 which is 2x more than anyone else.

The clubs are really money makers for the club owners.  If your high school has a top lacrosse program, don't need the clubs.  Kids just need to stay in condition for spring tryouts.  Save your money or throw it away...[/quote]

OMG this is the worst advice on this thread.  Kid who want to play in college, and by middle school most serious players do, have to play club.  It is how you get recruited.  High school coaches have input and help but if you dont play club on a top team you wont get ntoiced nd no college coaches will guess you are a serious player.[/quote]
