Prep is now on the refusal to play list with Landon.
Stop contacting current students enrolled at other schools and that might change.
Lmao - if you only knew how many lax families from DMV schools have reached out about transferring. Not easy to transfer to St. John’s since the school is at capacity every year.
SJC may be at capacity, but it’s a glorified public school and a safety for academically successful students. They offer tons of scholarships to try to lure academically strong students and talented students, whether in athletics or the arts. I personally know multiple students who have received scholarships for academics, athletics, and the arts. Most students who get into better schools don’t chose SJC unless they want/need the money. At our elementary school everyone applied to SJC as a backup/safety and the only kids who attended were the ones who didn’t get into the better schools or wanted the scholarships. Back in the day it was the school that kids went to after they were kicked out of other schools. SJC is trying desperately to change that reputation, but still not an academic powerhouse and not a school many kids want to attend, unless it’s their best option. That being said no one from an IAC school is transferring to SJC unless they have to.
This is such a nonsense post I dont even know where to begin. And running down a school for providing scholarships and aid to students for academics and the arts is telling on yourself. It seems a lot of people are upset that SJC upset the long standing apple cart of elitist privates that always used to dominate the lacrosse scene. Don't let that make you get in your feelings and run down the excellent school it is, on the whole. Once we win baseball this weekend that will mean titles in- Football, Basketball, Lacrosse, and Baseball- in the most competitive league in the country.
