It’s not a failure to hire a coach. It’s a deliberate decision not to hire one unless they can fill that team. Note that all the TBD coaches are for the lowest level for that age group. Other clubs do the same thing.

No idea how that is typically handled; agree that communication should be honest and open about it. But if you don’t like how it’s being handled or are not ok with the cost for a TBD coach, vote with your feet! Go to a club where there is a named coach for the team. If your DC can’t get an offer for such a team, maybe that’s a sign that travel soccer is not the right path. [/quote]
