Did the club announce to the parents at tryouts that were was no coach or inform you when they sent the team offer?
Has there been communication from Valor management apologizing for their failure to hire the coach prior to the tryout?
Are they waiving the deposit until a coach can be hired so parents know what they are paying for?
These are the things a non-profit org would do that was interested in the well-being of the players and player development. However, Valor is run like a business and all decisions are made from a profitability/marketing point of view. So the answer is no to all of them. The offers were generic and just contained the team name without listing the nonexistent coach.

They are still tin cupping for players on their lowest teams with no coach. Its again laughable.
They look to have hired outside 'help' to recruit suckers to join the bottom teams. Got a message from a guy on their behalf trying to recruit my kid. Said no real quick.

Surprised they even agreed to the marketing tactic.

I have not yet reviewed all 110 pages of this thread, and if this topic has already been covered, I apologize for the redundancy. Could someone please explain the process of dual rostering with NVA? Given that this was mentioned during tryouts, should we have a reasonable expectation of it being implemented? Although I do not believe my son is currently at the required skill level, we were informed that he might be considered for selection. Either way we are staying with Valor.
So from my understanding and this is just how it was briefly explained to us when we were considering staying with Valor . Parents are noticing that there is really a lack of alliance. NVA is basically Loudoun kids. So what they’ve started implementing is this dual roster. Basically you stay with your Valor team and you might have one practice with NVA a week or so if you’re invited to it. You’re not guaranteed playtime on a field and maybe your kid might play a couple minutes of one game. I think throwing out this term of dual roster has made a significant number of families happy but at the end of the day unless your kid is on the NVA team, your child will probably just be there as an extra.
