Most normal parents, even though they are supporting their kid on American Idol, aren’t arranging secret parties for their teenager to generate interest, or creating a web page about their 12 year old daughter to support her music career. They exploited her, even if at 12 she said she wanted to do it. I can’t imagine doing that to a tween. Even beyond that, most parents aren’t buying up their child’s albums or have the savvy to negotiate business contracts for their child or claiming that they are their child’s therapist. Do you really think it is okay to create a website about your 12 year old?  Do you really want to engineer your kids life to the point you are inviting screened fans over to have parties with her?  She herself has said she was lonely and would follow fans to see what normal kids lives are like.  I can’t imagine doing that to a child. Yes, some people do it for sports, but that doesn’t have the same trade offs of fame and money for privacy that Hollywood/the music industry does.

Joe wrote her best songs. Others have been produced, so you can’t hear what a bad singer she is.

And she barely sang on the Eras tour.

No one who can only play the same few chords is a great songwriter. Lol

She steals song parts as has been discussed before.

She is good at parasocial life and creating a throng of fans who don’t care about her limitations.
