It’s bad enough that Trump’s in charge but how do people not understand basic math? It’s 30% of the imported cost, not price! So if a company previously paid $5 for some plastic sh*t with no tariff and then charged customers $20, the new tariff will be $1.50 (ie 30% of $5) and the new price would be $21.50 (plus a further adjustment of sales tax) if they pass on the full tariff. You are ridiculous. I make about a $1m a year. I am buying nothing. The tariffs won't affect me, but I just have no desire. I cannot believe how stupid people are to believe that he would help this country economically. Soon regular people won't be able to afford things and my friends and I don't want to buy anything. That ain't good for the economy.[/quote]
