look, if you cannot see that this sets a dangerous precedence, then I cannot help you.  what you say to your husband or wife in private and in confidence might offend someone someday.  you could be the best person ever, your acts do nothing but good, but still share a private thought, perhaps not even accurate, and it can burn you.
