It just takes a few disgruntled frequent posters to reflexively repeat the same points and people get that impression. These same few posters also don't like the exuberant cheering of the MD parents at games charactering them as "arrogant" and "obnoxious". As a sports fan myself, I understand the impulse. For example, why should the Yankees and Dodgers be allowed to have payrolls like they have? In our neighborhood, where there are a lot of MD and Landon families, I hear the complaint from both sides.
