This is a thread to diss UM, and the pp did with a random anecdote from the web. I provided actual anecdotes about the recent UM class as a counterpoint. Not to diss students from other schools, which is why I mentioned that I know it’s a tough market. He applied to 250+ jobs and got one, so it’s probably luck and hard work. There’s also a massive alumni network, which helps. [/quote]
