There is no "DCC option of choice" because all the options pit DCC families against eachother while leaving the other schools either neutral or better off. We are trying to organize amongst ourselves to push back on that whole setup and make it clear that we need an amended version of one of these options or a new option entirely. This new option will probably have minor negative implications on some of your schools-- maybe an extra split articulation or two, a slight shift in FARMS rate, some of your kids maybe having to go to Einstein (gasp! The horror!). But it would be better and fairer for the county as a whole. If you're selfish enough that you want to go all in on getting the perfect map for your particular kids and not care who else it affects, then you do you, but is that really the kind of person you want to be?[/quote]
