Shut the fuck up. If your son or daughter committed a crime should we blame you? Tragedy can strike anyone. No one is above it including you. And assigning blame before knowing all the facts reflects poorly on you.
Will you say the same if your own child is one of the 20 kids?
Has anyone seen "We need to talk about Kevin"? The main character is the mother of a teenaged serial killer, who kills his own father and sister and then goes on to kill a bunch of classmates. However, in the movie, he did not use guns, he used a bow with arrows, and he commited his murders shortly before his birthday so that he would be tried as a minor. I remember watching that movie in horror, it looked like the mother just couldn't get through to the kid, who he was filled with hatred toward everything and everyone around him from day one. And now that the damage has been done the woman is reflecting back on her life, starting from her indifference to her pregnancy, then her traveling when the kid was little, and so on and so forth, trying to find answers that she just can't find. One of the worst scenes was when she goes grocery shopping and bumps into the mother of one of the kids her son killed. That scene sent shivers down my spine. But, then again, she did not have a bunch of semi-automatics lying around.
