There were lines outside gun stores after this story.  The blood is on irresponsible gun owners hands and they know it.  They should feel guilty. More on point, it is simply that we need to keep guns out irresponsible gun owners hands first and foremost.  Not every crazy person is going to shoot up a school.  But I worry about those people who already have access to guns, such as certain neighbors that are only too proud to hang their guns on the wall, literally.  They also happen to be crazy, and spend most of their time trying to deflect their problems onto others.  Much like the gun people we are reading about this week.  Why is this okay with people?  Why is the gun issue not first and foremost?

Having worked with the mentally ill, I know of zero who are capable of this AND happen to have access to guns, thankfully.  That is not always the case because of irresponsible gun owners.  That is exactly what happened.  Everyone knows it.  There is no deflecting.  No matter who you are or (in your delusions) think you are.
