[/quote] You need to educate yourself about the costs of the death penalty to the criminal justice system - it’s 3-10x more costly to seek the death penalty and procure it than it is to keep a person in prison for life without parole well into their elder years. Most rational law enforcement officers from police to prosecutors to judges know that the death penalty is a horrible waste of resources that could better be used fighting more crime. All the research proves it is not a deterrent to crime which means it is 100% about feeding the blood lust of some members of our society.[/quote]
