A great idea and I just called my House member asking him to wear a mask and also called Jeffries office asking him to ask all Democrats to wear a mask tonight protesting trump screaming about "illegal" protests
You realize that many states have laws banning wearing masks while committing a crime? This was in response to the KKK. Do you support the KKK wearing masks now?
Is peaceful protesting a crime?
Breaking into buildings and holding workers hostage as happened just last week is a crime.
What are you talking about?
https://www.cnn.com/2025/02/27/us/barnard-columbia-israel-gaza-protests-hnk/index.html https://www.columbiaspectator.com/news/2025/03/04/rosenbury-pens-op-ed-on-sit-in-and-expulsions-writes-protesters-caused-30000-in-damages/ https://www.foxnews.com/media/barnard-student-demands-action-after-pro-hamas-protest-turns-violent-calls-out-schools-pathetic-response
Sorry Jewish person, I know you are hugging Trump right now because you think he is your path forward. We've got bigger fish to fry.
I am Jewish too. I support Jewish students being able to learn free from antisemitism which is rampant now on college campuses, harassment and intimidation in the US. I am not hugging Trump but do support his standing up for Jewish students. I recognize the complete hypocrisy of him condemning protestors after the assault on Democracy of Jan 6. Let’s take support where we get it. It doesn’t mean we have to like or support him in general.
The protests were over the war crimes of Israel. Criticizing Israel and Netanyahu is not anti-semitism
Jewish students were harassed and threatened during these protests. There are multiple lawsuits and Title VI complaints from Jewish students across the country currently in progress. If you genuinely don’t know this, please do some research. Here are a few of many examples from the past 18 months: https://www.courthousenews.com/jewish-students-harassed-during-gaza-protest-see-discrimination-claims-advanced/ https://abcnews.go.com/US/harvard-failed-jewish-students-face-antisemitism-lawsuit-judge/story?id=112642274 https://www.wsj.com/us-news/education/jewish-students-at-ucla-were-harassed-threatened-and-assaulted-on-campus-report-finds-d1562e03 https://www.cbsnews.com/chicago/news/lawsuit-northwestern-university-harassment-pro-palestinian-encampment/ http://www.thedp.com/article/2024/05/penn-lawsuit-antisemitism-new-declarations-encampment https://nypost.com/2025/02/24/us-news/barnard-college-students-expelled-over-hate-filled-anti-israel-protest/
The lawsuit regarding UPenn was just tossed into the oblivion. NEW: Federal Judge Dismisses Antisemitism Lawsuit Against Penn A federal judge has tossed out the lawsuit filed by Jewish students and the group Students Against Antisemitism against the University of Pennsylvania, sharply criticizing their sprawling complaint. In a scathing 20-page opinion, Judge Mitchell Goldberg wrote that the students’ 111-page filing was bloated with “a wide variety of general allegations, complaints, historical and current events, and alleged antisemitic incidents that allegedly took place not just on Penn’s campus, but elsewhere in the United States and the world.” He stated: “It is unclear why Plaintiffs’ counsel deemed it necessary to allege so many unrelated facts.” Judge Goldberg found that while the students claimed Penn had tolerated antisemitism, they failed to show “any actions or positions which, even when read in the most favorable light, could be interpreted as antisemitic with the intention of causing harm.” The judge noted, “At worst, Plaintiffs accuse Penn of tolerating and permitting the expression of viewpoints which differ from their own.” [twitter]https://x.com/ethanmyoung_/status/1929643659034579090?s=46&t=kf1qYlCXQnKgUhJWEIu2vg[/twitter]
